Sportswear Fabric Suppliers for Brands That Demand Consistency

AOLAFREE is a sportswear manufacturer in Shenzhen, China, and we work as one of the sportswear fabric suppliers that brand owners can build a supply chain around. Since 2010, we have combined fabric sourcing, in-house development, and garment production under one roof — so the fabric you approve at sampling is the fabric that ships in bulk.

Our 1,000㎡ fabric warehouse holds stock and approved lots ready for cutting, supporting a monthly capacity of 300,000 pieces across 150+ employees and six production groups. For brands, that means shorter lead times, fewer surprises, and a fabric partner who understands how material behaves on the sewing floor, not just on a spec sheet.

A Fabric Library Built for Activewear

We supply the core fibers that performance and lifestyle collections are built on:

  • Nylon and spandex — the foundation of leggings, sports bras, and compression-friendly silhouettes
  • Polyester — durable, color-fast, and suited to high-volume programs
  • Cotton, modal, bamboo, and viscose — soft-touch options for tops, tees, and athleisure
  • Recycled polyester and organic cotton — for brands building sustainability into their line sheet

Every fabric we offer is selected for how it performs in motion: moisture-wicking, quick-dry, breathable, and high-stretch where the design calls for it. Whether you are developing a second-skin yoga set or a relaxed cotton tee, the material is matched to the end use.

Custom Fabric Development and Sampling

Off-the-shelf fabric is not always enough. If your collection needs a specific hand feel, weight, stretch recovery, or surface finish, our team can develop fabric to your brief. Knit fabrics are pre-shrunk at high temperature before cutting, which helps protect fit consistency after washing — a detail that matters when your customers expect the same legging to fit the same way, order after order.

Sampling runs at US$50–80 per style. Simple styles typically take 6–8 days; complex constructions take 12–15 days. Sampling fees are credited back on bulk orders of 500 pieces or more in the same color and style, so development cost does not sit on your side once the program scales.

Quality Control From Fiber to Finished Garment

Fabric quality is checked before it ever reaches a needle. Our five-step inspection covers:

  1. Raw material
  2. Cut panels
  3. Sewing
  4. Trims and accessories
  5. Finished goods

This structure lets us catch tension, shrinkage, and shade issues early — when they are still cheap to fix. Certificates are available upon request, including ISO 9001, SGS fabric testing reports, OEKO testing reports, and a Global Recycled Report, so your compliance team has documentation to work with.

Services for Brand Owners, Designers, and Wholesalers

We operate three ways, depending on how much of the process you want to own:

  • Private Label — choose from existing styles and apply your branding; from 200 pieces
  • OEM — send your tech pack and we produce to your specification
  • ODM — work with our team on design and production together

Standard MOQ is 300 pieces per style. Logo and packaging trims carry their own minimums: printed labels at 50 pieces per size, woven labels and embroidered or silicone logos at 300 pieces, and hang tags or zipper bags at 500 pieces. For brands assembling a full collection, these thresholds are set to keep first orders realistic while protecting unit costs.

Our customers are based across North America, Europe, and the Middle East, with more than 500 brands served in over 30 countries. More than a decade of export production means we understand labeling requirements, packing standards, and the timelines overseas buyers work to.

Why Fabric Choice Decides Your Repurchase Rate

In activewear, fabric is the product. A legging that pills, a bra that loses recovery, a tee that shrinks — these are fabric failures, and customers do not separate them from your brand. Working with a manufacturer that controls fabric sourcing, testing, and cutting in the same facility removes the gap where most quality problems begin.

If you are comparing sportswear fabric suppliers, send us your fabric specs or reference samples. We will tell you what is achievable, what it costs, and how fast we can get a swatch in your hands.
